.. exclaimed Ettore this morning when he sent us the bad news via sms that our constructor Sandro was not going to come as agreed. Hmm. His excuse is a bad flue. But our transport did not arrive either, and maybe it is a coincidence, or maybe we are just too impatient.
Niklas took his energy out on a wall which needed to be hacked out anyway and we took down the two kitchen sinks, one is marble the other porcelain and we hope we can use them somehow in the new setup.
Todays headache is the bathroom. It is of rather impressive size for a bathroom and with an open fireplace. But the layout and the vaulted ceilings give us a little planning to do. Luckily we have architect friends who already offered to help. So tonight a mail will go out to Elisabeth in Berlin...
