when we told our geometra patetta a year ago that we wanted to take off the ceiling in the balcony room under the roof, he dissed the idea and thought that we'd better have some storage space there, what difference would it make. we said the room was too low now and anyway we insisted that was what we wanted. this week was the time to take the cement ceiling away, because the new roof is now complete. it was hard work for two days with the hammer, you see the red face... and led to lots of disposal that has to be taken away. the metal beams are still there, they will be taken off next. we still believe we made the right decision ..
