another brick in the wall

Funny how as soon as we are getting close to moving in and getting the first part finished, i feel the urge to do some deconstruction again. This time it was the vault in the entrance. It is too low for normal length people to go up the stairs comfortably and the risk for headinjury was always at hand. So when the architect gave the go ahead, we took to the sledge hammer and carefully took it away. More disposal. While it is a shame to take away such beautifully handiworks, it is feels much better now that we have the headspace and even the freedom to play with some ideas around the connection between those stairs and the atrio. A little calce, used stones, cemento and half a Sunday later we even have a new wall. Thanks to Staffan!
