While the work inside is done by the professionals and Niklas during the week, I have chosen a little side project for the weekends and mornings. There are a few places that look a bit unkempt on our property, and one after the other we are cleaning it up. The one I am currently engaged in is the veranda of the little house. We chucked so much of the wood from the old roof under it that the floor gave way. Under it there was about a meter of space, and now the sticks look like a giant Mikado game. It is a bit tricky to get to them, but little by little, a few every day, a few more in the weekend, I get them into the little house. When its done I was planning for a huge compost, at least temporarily until we build a new veranda.
